Mohave County residents who wish to Home School their children are required to file an Affidavit of Intent and a copy of a Certified Birth Certificate for the student with the Mohave County Educational Service Center/Office of the Mohave County Superintendent of Schools. A blank Affidavit is downloadable below. An internet search for “Arizona Homeschool” will locate sites on supplies, testing, laws, and support groups. You will also find information on Virtual/On-line Schools which are not home schooling sites and do not require the filing of an Affidavit of Intent. Some are offered by the Arizona Department of Education, and the Arizona Board for Charter Schools with no tuition or enrollment fees required.
